Obituary

CHATHAM,

Virginia Elaine Fisk peacefully entered into rest on the morning of May 7, 2020 at her residence. Virginia was born on March 7, 1935 in Union City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Ralph and Marian Smith Fisk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Fred Fisk, TX.

Survivors include brothers James Fisk (Cheryl) and Robert Fisk, VA, Gordon Fisk, FL, sister Marilyn Simko (Bill), OH, and sister-in-law Kathy Fisk, TX.

Virginia was an incredible aunt, sister and friend, and will be dearly missed by all that were privileged to share her infectious love of life, adventure and laughter.

Virginia was a dedicated, hard worker in numerous fields of employment, and volunteered for several organizations after she retired. Virginia attended Chatham Baptist Church. She loved to travel, plant flowers and work crossword and jigsaw puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Due to the constraints of the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a celebration of life held at a future date. The family encourages you to leave memories online at scottfuneralhomechatham.com.

Virginia was a delightful member of our church. She always spread sunshine in everything she said or did. Truly a joy to be around. Betty says she loved her smile and the conversations in the grocery store shared.

Virginia was a very sweet lady; I am thankful for the opportunity of knowing her as she volunteered at Social Services for many years. I will remember the many laughs that we shared at the filing area.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Fisk family, praying that the memories of you loved one will sustain you at this time.
