William Roger Ford, age 74, of Chatham, entered into rest on April 20, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on November 21, 1945, in Pulaski County, the son of the late Grover Cleveland Ford and the late Virginia Cox Ford. He is survived by his wife, Martha Anderson Ford.

He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid hunter and member of the N.R.A.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Pamela Ford (Joseph) White, Anita Ford (Randy) King, and Kathy (Toby Bowman) Ford; five grandchildren, David William Ford, Heather Nicole King, Colby Wayne King, Joshua White, and Taylor White; two special children, Jordan and Juliette Hiatt; three sisters, Brenda McGuyer, Joyce Phillips, and Ruth Akers; a brother, Gary Ford; his best friends, Howard and Nancy Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Darlene Ford, and a brother, Grover Ford.

A private graveside service will be conducted at the Ford Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Nation Rifle Association.
