Obituary for Judy Reynolds Cook


Judy Reynolds Cook, age 65, of 140 Tomahawk Creek Rd. Chatham, entered into rest on January 27, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on October 7, 1950, in Danville, the daughter of the late Clyde Daniel "Joe" Reynolds and the late Jesse Mahan Reynolds.

She was a member of Oak Ridge Christian Church and worked for many years at Ennis in Chatham.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cook of Chatham; and a brother, Glen Reynolds and his wife Joan of Chatham.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son; and brothers, Jerry Lee Reynolds, Ronnie Reynolds, C.D. Reynolds, and Billy Reynolds.

Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Sunday January 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Minister Kenneth McFarling officiating. Burial will follow at Reynolds Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence, 140 Tomahawk Creek Rd. Chatham, VA.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Arc of the Southside, 7180 HWY 29 Blairs, VA 24527.
