Mozelle Kendrick Reynolds, age 87, of 7349 Callands Rd. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on January 2, 2018 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born on July 14, 1930, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late McKaga Kendrick and the late Ada Adkins Kendrick.
She was married to the late Roger Lee Reynolds.
She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. She was a substitute teacher at Chatham High School for 32 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Randall) Amos and Janice (David) Spinella; four grandchildren, Nicole Bruce, Allison Wojciechowski, Susan Sacks, and Lee Spinella; seven great-grandchildren, Cody Bruce, Rachael Bruce, Landon Bruce, Leighann Bruce, Brayden Wojciechowski, Gabriel Sacks, and Noah Sacks; and several nieces and nephews.
Mozelle was the last surviving member of a generation.
Funeral services will be conducted at Hollywood Baptist Church on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Terry C. St. John, and Rev. Haywood Alcorn officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and will be at the residence on Friday January 5.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Hollywood Baptist Church Building Fund, 6405 Callands Rd, Chatham, VA 24531.
